I am curious over this - can a man be beta to in one woman's eyes and then alpha in another?

I was in a relationship for a long time, we had several children, the girl cheated on me, disrespected me, and I believe viewed me as unattractive and a loser. Mind you I was 6'4" with 12% body fat at the time (she referred to me being fit as a phase).

Fast forward two months after this, I met a girl who was pretty, had great eyes, big boobs, big butt, skinny waist and was very young 21.
