Women In Corporate America

I work in corporate America as a highly paid technical consultant.

I trained my (soon to be ex) wife in the same field and she right away got a hotshot VP job at a major bank in New York City starting at $250,000.00 per year + benefits up the kazoo. I'm doing this for much longer than her, but as a white male, cannot land such a role - merit is frowned upon if you do not have a vagina.

I was also told at one interview, that they needed a woman for the role I wanted. Of course, the company had a woman CEO.

So now after 3 months of not working, I get a great gig in a huge bank, the job is great, but all of the big shots I work with are women. None of them are very competent - which is why they need to hire armies of men like me to do the actual work and eventually train them.

They respond to a crisis with emotions, they are coddled and free to create meetings and then not even show up or cancel at the last minute as I'm dialing in, or these meetings are nothing but opportunities for them to pontificate. I sit and patiently listen as I'm paid by the hour anyway.

The biggest lady boss of all likes to pontificate, challenge the underlings to come to her with an issue, then instructs them to research it themselves and come back to her with their solution. She never has to do anything. She gets away with this because she has 'postion power' (she can fire us all) and is a bitch that scares everyone.

When something goes wrong, these women will shoot out emails with everyone CC-ed while having an emotional meltdown. They cannot do a root cause analysis because they don't know what actually causes things - but they do know that they are upset and their emotions drive their actions, not logic.

My friends are also consultants and have confirmed that this is widespread. There are armies of women around me who would have never made it to their position on merit, ability or competence - to be fair, some of them are competent, but the sheer number of them who are out of their depth vastly outnumbers the competent, clear thinking problem solvers with vaginas.

I walked by a large conference room one day and it was filled with only women. Having some kind of meeting. I don't know what it was, as men were excluded. I don't know why as I'm new there and like the job otherwise, so will take my fat paycheck as I watch Rome burn.
