More than anything, teach by example. If you go in the garage to build or tinker, bring him. Then discuss stuff while tinkering. Teach him safe ways of surfing porn :) (tor) . So you don't have a computer full of malware. Teach him porn is cheap because the creators are cheap...

Don't be scared, and do things with him. try first things with him if you haven't done them...want to go kayaking for the first time? I bet he does too. Want to climb a mountain for the first time? Two people can push each other, and his age might help him show that he's stronger than he thinks he is.

I'm a single dad...do things with the kids, and make parables for stories to help teach him what you know.

But also remember that you can't live his life for him, you cannot -- when he reaches adult status -- make his decisions & choices for him either, cannot choose what HIS priorities are or will be, and ultimately you cannot suffer or bear the consequences of them... HE will need to do so... for good or ill.

Don't ever mention MGTOW or TRP
Lead by example
Teach him Critical Thinking
Cultivate his self-esteem: not to put anyone else above him; not to put anyone on a pedestal
cultivate his interests and develop a fulfilling career
Teach him personal finances
Teach him to go lifting and take care of his body and mind
Teach him not to succumb to the slavery of consumerism
Teach him that there's a big difference between what people say and what people do
Teach him that it's OK very OK to not do what everyone else does (the average) and that depending on what it is and the context it's OK to not talk about it, or ignore the critics or to stand out without giving any explanation
talk with him and reason with him about things in life under the premises of Critical Thinking and Dialectic (the process of finding what is True)

Explain that the laws are even worse now than back when he was born. Show him the statistics - he's old enough to respect data.

Look at it as a lesson you learned that you're passing on now. He was peripherally involved but not the center of you learning the lesson.

Same situation as you, 16 y.o. son post-divorce. I am not pushing MGTOW on him yet, but I am living it and have explained why I am avoiding women in my life. I hope he’ll see that women are not necessary for a contented life (and actually prevent it).

Hopefully once he experiences women’s shit firsthand, he’ll be receptive to hearing more about MGTOW. Until then, I think I’d come off as just a bitter old man.

Is he asking for advice or are you trying to push mgtow onto him? The best thing you can do as a father is let him live his life and when he needs your advice on life that is when you step in. This doesn't mean you're not allowed to set boundaries so his life decisions doesnt ruin your personal human experience and it is good to give some guidance when hes heading in a bad direction but what is most important is that he witnesses how happy you are without a woman so when he does get fucked over by one he'll remember how happy his father is without one and think to himself "well my father doesnt need women in his life so its possible to be happy without one"
