A bachelor tax is targeting a specific group for further injustice simply because that group is making a rational response to an unjust laws and social structure, and is unconscionable. Essentially involuntary servitude. You either serve the women or your productivity is extracted by the state to hand out to the women.

I would consider a bachelor tax to be a personal declaration of war against me, by those who wish to enslave me. Nat Turner's response to slavery was instructive: he and his followers gave no quarter to anyone benefiting from involuntary servitude.

Also what Zapata later said "Better to die on my feet, than live on my knees." The opposite of peace is not war, it is slavery.
