This morning as I was watching some fishing videos, I came across a trailer for a new series. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. At first I was excited! I thought it would be a back story to the guy that was the focus in the movie. To borrow a line from Dom DeLouise on "Blazing Saddles," "WWROOOONNNGG!" It focuses on the flying bitch and the one-eyed hag that looks like Oprah. The animatronics are fucked. Camera work and production value are shit...and...AND...now they are introducing high-level CG and Computer animation that doesn't fit on such a scale that a three year-old could tell it is out of place. The Skeksis have fucking cars! Cars! What? Nowhere in the original movie did I see that. Of course, the last time I watched it was twenty years ago. Look it up on youtube if'n y'all don't believe me. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Yet another reason to boycott Netflix.
