They start telling everyone you’re gay or say you came on to them and they turned you down. I’ve denied ex girlfriends sex and they started telling people I abused them or I have a tiny dick. Stuff like that.

Honestly they act like you are missing out on something special, or that you are squandering an opportunity or you're not doing your duty. That's usually the vibe I get. They try and put it back onto the man and make us feel something.

Few had outright bursts of crying spell.

I've had a lot of them end up crushing on me really hard after that. Eventually they give up after realizing my stance will not change, but it takes a while and first they decide I must be one of those mythical "good men" that all women know are just in such short supply. Gradually, after the emails get no response and the phone calls get short, business-like answers, they move on to greener pastures.

I don't even find it comical anymore; humans are so predictable.

When I tell them I'm celibate, the reaction is usually disbelief although I've had a few get angry. When they ask why, I respond "I decided to retire early instead".

Then for some reason they either freak out or they try to seduce me into returning to the plantation.
