TL;DR

Girl openly disrespects super AFC blue pill "boyfriend" by kissing a close friend of his. He finds out and blames the dude.

On to the worst example of AWALT I have ever seen.

Background info:

2 dudes, 1 chick:

  • Jake, 24, BP as hell. Cool dude but total trainwreck with women
  • Steve: 21, total player. Not neccessarily red, but has a massive IDGAF attitude and takes a lot of care of his looks.
  • Stacy: 18, pretends to be a super neat girl.

Alright, so three months ago, Jake managed to kiss Stacy at a party, and subsequently didn't stop texting her. Oncoming relationship turned into a lot of texting, him going overdrive on the BP and it turning into him becoming an orbiter who she occasionally kissed. They didn't even fuck, because when she wanted to, he said she still doubted yesterday so they shouldn't.

Last weekend was a festival, and Stacy managed to secure a ride with Jake. I was in that car aswell, going backseat with two other dudes and drinking a ton and having a great time. Their time in the front was weird and awkward.

Once we got there, he helpen her set up her tent, move her stuff, etc. They didn't even kiss at this point. Cringe.

As soon as the Alcohol starts flowing, she is sitting on another dudes lap. Right next to Jake. We head out to the festival grounds, and she keeps moving around dudes, not paying a moments attention to Jake, who just gets pissed that she doesn't give him more attention while standing around doing nothing. So far, no kisses.

In comes Steve. She sees him dancing. Instantly sold.

Somewhere along this point, Jake decides he's had enough and goes back to the tent pissed. She decides to kiss Steve, who happily obliges.

Spends the next day drinking and has a very deep talk with her that they are done. Then proceeds to keep texting her... On the drive back she even decided to join another car for the ride.

Jake hears from someone on the ride back that Steve kissed Stacy and doesnt speak for the rest of the drive home. He blames Steve, keeps texting Stacy and cancels his membership of the group that me, Steve and him are a member of. All this because a girl played him and kept him on a leash.

Lessons learned

  • AWALT: She seems such a nice, proper, girl, until the next, more attractive dude comes along and then picks him up. Doesn't give a shit about the other dude's feelings.
  • Defeatism is suicide: If you assume you've lost, you've lost. Your opinion of yourself is more important that anyone else's
