Western Civilization is not declining

The fact that that people want to move to the west and have a western lifestyle does not mean it is not declining. Sweden and Germany are declining, their culture is lost. Places like Barcelona and Paris are now frequent victims of terrorism. This doesn't mean the decline has to continue, but things have gotten worse in several western countries the last few years.

This list goes on. We are healthier, wealthier, with more freedom and more mobility than we have ever been. If you're not on the positive side of that curve, the problem is not that civilization is declining, the problem is that you have failed to get on that wave and ride. You. Are. The. Problem. Own it.

I appreciate the mentality of "blame yourself", but in this topic it doesn't make sense. I can think the west is declining while still thriving in the west. When assessing North America and Western Europe, my own experience is irrelevant. And no, I am not the problem when it comes to Middle Easterners invading western countries and taking over the cultures.

You're forgetting something important. Birthrates in the west are going down. That is a problem. None of the achievements you listed will count if you don't breed. The decline, if it continues, would take a long time.

On your immigration point...if you believe the overwhelming number of studies which point to a direct correlation between IQ and achievement, swallow the racial red pill and accept there are racial differences too. The testing, and probably your own observations, bears this out. Let's leave the two usual racial groups of blacks and whites out of the conversation, and start with the fact that pacific rim asians and ashkenazi jews have the highest iqs. Their per capita income achievements provide witness to this fact.

Do you think it is high IQ asians jumping over the USAs border fence or crashing the gates in Europe. Nope. Countries are exporting their bottom feeders or violent scumbags to the west. We can only absorb so many 90 IQ lettuce pickers and Europe cannot handle anymore primitive 95 IQ goat fucking suicide bombers.

There's reason to be gloomy about the west's future on the topic of immigration.

So many ignorant posts on here. So much misinformation.

Why don't you spend an hour and read up what the Dow Jones is, and what significant changes happened after the last recession.

It's fine to blame other things as long as the solution is to adjust strategy accordingly rather than sit back and wait for changes to come from the top. By suggesting one side of any conflict is the problem, you're leaving out a lot of the complexities of the conflict. Blame can be on both parties to varying degrees. More difficult to dissect but probably closer to the truth if you ask me.

Western civ is so awesome that most people in pretty much all countries want to emulate it. The only way that some countries can try to avoid it is via massive repression. Normal people love Western Civ, love pop culture, want to have hot sex, and want to get out of whatever hell hole they were born in and to the US, Canada, Japan (tough because it accepts few immigrants) or Europe.

Western civ practically defends itself.
