This is a shitty thing to say but the last woman I'd ever date is a woman who cheated with me on her boyfriend. The entire purpose of shit like that is that she has someone to run back home to to do all the stupid needy boyfriend shit and then you get to exist as nothing more than her plaything .... getting a " promotion" from plaything to her potential boyfriend is the worst thing any kind of manwhore or PUA type dude could ask for .

You now get the same exact benefits of hanging with that woman ( sex) with the added responsibility of having to call her , show her attention , and hang herself all over you .

It's like when people become managers at minimum wage jobs. That $1.50 an hour raise is usually not equal to the added responsibilities that such a role now includes.

My exwife left me to go back to an ex who found her on Facebook. She had broken up with him twice in the past for cheating behavior. The first time it was for getting another girl pregnant and the second for hitting on her best friend right in front of her. When she went back to him, she later caught him texting another woman so she ended it with him again and asked me to take her back. She walked out of a 10 year marriage for this guy and expected me to just resume things like they'd been before? Absolutely not.

Perhaps he knew she cheated on her own boyfriend when she 'connected with him' and realized she a bad girlfriend. More likely she mistook being nice with 'connected'.
