You often hear it from women; "why am I attracted to the bad boys?". Same with men: "I tried to be nice with girls and got knocked-back. Now I treat them like shit and they come knocking.".

It comes down to control. A woman will despise you if they can control you. The bad boy controls the relationship and the girls hate this. This is why they keep hanging on to the bad boy. Because they want to break him down. That's why women absolutely hate rejection, because the man controlled the narrative and told them to get lost. So the bad boy represents a challenge for them, it keeps their interest levels high thinking about how they are going to take control. Because most of the men are the nice guys and the girls have control and don't have to plot and scheme and hence, their interest levels don't get exercised.

And it's interesting with the real bad guys, the guys that really treat the girls like shit. The girls desire for control is so powerful that they hate themselves for continuing on with this guy but they can't help it. They want to break the guy down even if it means continuing the relationship with a piece of shit. In a way, it's pathetic.

Control the relationship or get controlled.
