That is usually a thing that people say, that actually themselves got alot of baggage or drama. And have no problem making you pay/suffer for what other did to them (or they did to themselves) aka baggage dropping on you.
It's impossible not to bring in baggage from the past. Unless one has lived in a closed off bubble, one does have baggage. It's called life.
The important thing is. Is that you don't make others (innocent people) pay/suffer for your baggage (and how others did you wrong).
