I might get downvoted to oblivion for this, but I feel it’s necessary to ask questions. So. Short intro, I’m a 23 yo man, and I’m curious in the MGTOW movement. I’m not here to judge or preach, I’m simply curious.

So. I’ve been reading through a lot of the posts here and I’ve been thinking quite a lot about what’s going on in the current political and social climate. No doubt feminism is getting a lot of attention, whereas one could argue male empowerment is not getting as much. Now, I do wonder whose responsibility it is to push a men’s empowerment movement. Is it not up to us men? Women fought for many, many years to get to where they are today. Truth is, it was always there for us. Now some men are feeling threatened by the rise of feminism, aka, men are losing their privilege, and some men are, in my opinion, being very reactionary. Again, instead of segregating yourselves from women altogether, why not push for a movement that constructively seeks to address the issues you are experiencing?

I also sense a lot of frustration, and reading between the lines, it often appears to be social and, ultimately, sexual frustration. Yes, there are women that are taking things way too far and that are encouraging fascistic actions towards men, and obviously that is complete BS, but those behaviours exist on both extremes of the spectrum and are not representative of the average man/woman. Do you think we can identify that we are all struggling in this life, and that we can work together for a better society, and a better world?

So tell me, what is it you men of the MGTOW movement ultimately want to achieve?

Cheers guys!
