I'll try to keep this brief, but unlikely.

I've been raised to think women need everything from guys and that's correct and basically we have to be better in every way no matter what crap happens.

Somehow I nearly managed to do this till a T till I was 35 and recently got divorced.

I knew it was bullshit to deal with it and really didnt till marriage and kids. Basically my entire adulthood was getting treated like shit while I tried to help....

I sadly agree on basically all these memes and rational Male book etc. Havnt seen it disproven once in anyones relationships which leads me to wtf is my purpose or drive anymore.

I basically lived my whole life trying to be something and regretfully I was told and shown to be that someone to get the family and wife and happiness.

Of course it didnt work out for them either but still ingrained.

So my question is how do you

  1. Not let the impossibility of "The dream" just make you a asshole which I've been becoming quickly.

  2. Where do you find your drive or reason to live if it was mainly for people but you realize people really are just not that great?
