Hmm... Assuming she actually does all that I might agree with what she says. But lets face it, there’s not a whole lot of women who would do all that and in most divorces the split is never 50/50. The stay at home mom gets more than 50 percent of everything through biased family court orders, thanks to false claims of domestic violence and on top of that, she will also get a sizeable chunk of his future pay through alimony and child support.

That’s not even taking into account that women usually stop you from growing too. When a married man wants to quit his job in order to pursue his own business, the wife will most likely talk him out of it because of the financial stability of a 9-5 job. Just looking through a couple of posts made here the last month, whenever a man loses his job or decides to change careers, their wives will instantly have a divorce on their mind because of a minor financial rough patch that will nearly always happen during that transition.

So no. 50/50 isn’t fair when you can clearly state one side is not only a parasite, but also a ball and chain holding the other down.

It's baffling to me how women are allowed to initiate a divorce and still steal half her husbands shit. Divorce means change, you can't expect to keep up the same lifestyle. Alimony is a cancer on society and it should be abolished. Child support is a different matter but that needs to be changed too, too many women take the money and spend it on themselves instead of the kid.

I would have been pretty fucking happy to have given my ex only 50% of our assets. In fact, I offered her that before our first lawyer consult. (Possibly a strategic mistake, in retrospect.)

Her answer: I get more. And she did, a lot more.

Hope for the best, but plan for the worst. Go in guns blazing, and scratch for every dollar you can. If you somehow manage to end up with more than your fair share, you can always give some back later. She certainly won't.
