So, to introduce myself. I am a very young adult Australian who has been lurking in this sub-reddit for about a month. This is a throwaway because I do not want it connected to me in any possible way. The main point I want to raise is the idea of relationships. The dilemma is that I want one, but in general they are bad. (and I really do not want to be married for obvious reasons)

The problem I find is what is commonly raised. It is that the relationship is really not equal, if i start one, it would be fine at first, but as soon as it turns out that I do not want to carry the relationship on my own, it'll probably end. I feel that this in just ingrained by society into girls, with all that bullshit about entitlement (I'm sure you've seen it all already on this sub). I feel that a lot of this sub is about being single, but if feel that MGTOW is about going your own way and not defining yourself about what society and women expect from you, and forging your own path; the thing is I still want women in it.

So how do you think I go about this. I already did not want a wedding before finding out about how bad it is because I am not really a celebration/milestone type of person, but now it is a big no no. What are your guys thoughts about relationships.

Additionally kids. What about adopting them. This seems like the safest bet to get out of child support. I am still undecided about kids but i lean towards it. I am thinking that maybe being a voluntary single father and adopting a child in the far future could be an option if I am wise with my finances.
