$800 a month... guarantee you she's nowhere NEAR paying half of ALL of the household bills (keep in mind this is CANADIAN "dollars" {the sub is "PersonalFinanceCanada"} -- and $800 CAD = $600 USD); especially since it's apparently "all inclusive" (heat/light utilities, water, most likely internet/cable TV, and probably at least some -- if not ALL -- her food, etc).

Also she thinks this:

The house is only 680 sq ft so I could easily get a basement suite bigger then that size for the same price and be closer to my school and have all the space to myself.

And the person who replied to spoke the blatant truth: if she can find someplace cheaper to live (that is also bigger*) then she should move.

BTW, here's a graphic with "typical" Canadian 1 BR rental costs (in CAD$); the graphic doesn't say, but I highly doubt that includes any utilities (much less internet, cable, etc).

She's getting a DEAL -- and fucking up HIS financial plans -- and she's too clueless to comprehend it.

EDIT: Also, she's 28 years old and still living off of student loan debt.

* I rather doubt this bitch has the least clue how to calculate sq footage.

Ah, the original thread was a refreshing read. More than half of the commenters took the side of the guy and correctly said that he is in no way obliged to subsidize a strong, independent woman and m'lady is just a wee bit entitled. The hold of the bluepill Matrix on male minds seems to be weakening with every passing day.

Also I'd love to have a beer with this guy, he seems to have his shit together.

Honestly If I was in his place I will never allow her moving inside the house.I need to make money not give to charity.You cannot make money with close friends or relatives ever.Always it is implied a discount or something.
