Most of the reason I'm even on this sub is my last relationship. She was a feminist. Pretty well hidden at first, but the further down the rabbit hole we went, the #metoo discussions became more frequent. She was a "if there's smoke, there's fire" sort, where it didn't matter the ridiculousness of the accusation, the man was guilty. Aziz Ansari was a frequent discussion. Then there was the #notallmen argument. I latched on to that fucker like a dog with a bone. I'm not rapey, my 10 friends aren't rapey, and I'm pretty sure those 10 friends don't surround themselves with rapists. Lets say that's 60 men in the extended circle. Therefore, not all men. "I just don't see how, in light of all the new information, that you can defend your gender". Bitch, I'm defending ME, from YOU. I realize my rant doesn't have much to do with the post, but I just started typing and had to get it out.

I talked to some women in a Line app chat about #metoo. Only it didn't go so well and they ended up deeming me unhealthy for their social circle. I didn't think I said anything that bad. I said the sentiment was great but I felt it got too political and out of hand.
