It's pretty evident to those who are looking that western society as a whole is in decline. My personal opinion is that it has accelerated exponentially in the last 10 years. We may be in better times in the US, temporarily, but it feels like none of the required changes have happened to right the ship.

We've had ample opportunity to make changes, but we've bowed down at almost every step of the way to feminism, marxism, and PC culture to the point that I'm pretty sure it's beyond no return.

So, that being said, I understand that many of you have made preparations to set yourselves up to ride it out in as much comfort as possible. Much like myself.

What's your strategies?

Personally, I have focused on health and fitness. When hard times inevitably return, you don't want to have to rely on SSRIs and insulin to survive. A healthy, in-shape body is absolutely required to weather the storm.

On top of that, I've tried to secure myself financially and continue to do this. Reductions in things that aren't necessary to survive has become a hobby. I still have some pleasantries, but have avoided spending on expensive dinners, gadgets, etc. and have instead focused my time more into reading, being outdoors and philosophy.

Self-reliance is probably the third thing. Learning life skills, so that I'm more independent has been important to me. The thought process here is that if I need to fix my car, for example, that I can do it on my own. If we enter into hard times, those sorts of resources may not be readily available.

Any input?
