While your theory may be correct, I often hear the title of creep being used by girls as a subtle way of trying to increase their own SMV rather than directly assault the man's SMV. They claim that the man was hitting on them or leering at them or what have you and that they're a creep/creeper/etc. This increases the girl's SMV in two ways; first it alludes to her having an ongoing problem of men being overcome by her beauty (Oh, it is such a bother being so desired by so many men! I do so wish that I wasn't so attractive, those dirty animals just can't stop looking at me and lusting after me!"). And second, it insinuates that she is too high value for who ever the "creep" is ("Him!? How revolting! He's not even fit to LOOK at me! Only the best of men can dare gaze upon my beauty!").

It's funny to see that most of the time they will automatically decide whether the guy is a creep or whether they like him, depending on his physical appearance: you can say creepy stuff to her, but if you say it with confidence and you're handsome she's not going to call you a creep. But if you're not handsome and have no confidence, she'll easily use the C-word against you to disqualify you from the right beginning.

I see women call men creepy all the time. The word is overused entirely, to the point of meaninglessness. I see women call a man creepy because of his laugh, his walk, his stance, his social awareness, anything goes. What used to be a word reserved for the true sexual stalker has now turned into a word that is used to disqualify any man who makes a woman uncomfortable in any way.

My solution? If you get to call me creepy, I get to call you slut.

Whenever I've seen a woman refer to a man as "creepy", it's usually the result of the man trying to hit on a woman when he's breaking the one cardinal rule.

I was often called creepy by a friend of mine (male) whenever I'd message a girl to send me a picture, or was basically being completely forward and a bit dirty (after escalation).

After reading TRP he has completely gone off the idea, of effectively going in for the kill as being creepy, but we associate "creeps" with men who stare a lot, and look like librarian peados.

Slut for most guys would be a triumph, but for most girls not so much. I Don't know about you, but I would fuck a slutty chick. Yeah with the slut tag she may lose SMV around women but she gains in the male populous. Like "...some chicks pride themselves on their dick taking ability." Guys don't pride themselves on how many times they've been shut down or how terrible/creepy their game is. Yet girls do sometimes pride themselves on how many dudes with creep game they shut down, thus increasing SMV. The words mean different things through different eyes. IMO Girls don't creep on the scale males do. Like you barely catch a guy saying "she was creepy", but ladies throw that word around like mad. Is it because a lot of guys are terrible at the game? Or because most girls don't actively hunt? Or have they been molded too highborn for anything less than a perfect t.v shown male.

Personally, I think the female equivalent to 'creepy' is 'crazy' more than 'slutty'. I.e. a woman who is very jealous/obsessed and follows a guy around is going to be called crazy, a guy who does the same - creepy.

Of course, sometimes crazy and slutty overlap and make full-blown bunny boiler ;)
