Keep it professional and avoid being alone with her should be fine. Protect yourself, but we all gotta work with female at some point.

However, I would look for another job if she's limiting your career growth or your career is directly at risk by her behavior. Especially if she's there because of a quota, it's not worth fighting a losing battle.

All female bosses expect their male subordinates to kiss their ass while doing all the grunt work. Your female coworkers will take advantage of the situation by kicking up the laziness factor to the max. Plus they will take advantage of every opportunity to shit on you while reporting you for any comebacks.

Since female managers are greedy self-serving opportunists, she may only stick around for a while until a better opportunity comes along. Do you know her past work history? Has she jumped around the company frequently? I would try and seek this info before polishing off my resume to seek a new job or transfer within the company.

I’ve had men and women leaders, some good, most bad overall. Learned from all of them, what to do/not do.

If there is a pattern with any leader that doesn’t mix well with your working style, time to develop a transition plan.

Actually both of my supervisors are really nice women, have crude humour, one is feminist, but actually calls them out on their bs. Usually I'd hate working under a woman, but they make it different.

No. Go to work, keep your head down, get paid, repeat. I currently work for a man/woman dual managers and they are practically the same. Unless she was overhauling everything and disrupting order, then you have nothing to worry about

I’ve had some pretty horrible managers, and all of them were women. However, in your case - I would advise taking into account how satisfied you are with the job itself. If you are already a bit discontent, then it might be best to move on.

However, if you like your job then give her a chance. I have a female manager now and she is cool as hell. She is nearing retirement age and owns her own farm so she is a bit of a “Tom Boy” type. She doesnt micro manage or anything and just lets us do our thing. This is a first for me with female managers so I got lucky.

Also, I work from home which def helps.

My department was being lead by 2 men, the entire place was going to shit. Employees weren’t getting their checks and we were losing money faster than anyone else in our company. Then the two men in charge left and a single woman was put in charge. Everything instantly got better, shit was getting fixed and people were getting their money. We were also no longer losing money. The only other time I’ve had a female boss was my first ever job when I was a teenager bussing tables and the place was also running great because of her. So I really can’t say with confidence that a woman isn’t capable of being in charge.

I would wait it out and see how she is, as I would with anyone else. If I know that I dont have enough to live off of then I'll stay until I can't take it.

That's why i'm self employed, it was hard as first but now i get to choose who my clients are and i dont have to deal with this shit.
