I have been thinking about this a lot more recently. I’m 43, single, with no kids and no pets, and have never been married. I have been single for about nine years. I live alone - no roommates. I do just about everything alone. Whenever I wake up and have no texts, and no phone calls or voicemails, I emit a sigh of relief and a big fat grin spreads across my face. As a freelancer, I appreciate getting emails and texts and voicemails about work, but that’s the only kind of emails, texts and voicemails that I really want to receive. I do have a couple very close bros, and I love my family, ... my mom and dad, my brother, my sister, my aunt, my nieces and my nephews, and I love to hear from them,... But honestly, these are the only people I want to hear from ... besides my good bro pals and employers. Gone are the days of sending a whole bunch of stupid fucking texts to a bitch who would leave me in a heartbeat for a man who has more power, more money, bigger muscles, or a better job. I desire solitude. And, for years now,… I’m getting what I want.

I do like a text every now and then from mates trying to organize a dinner or what ever. It can get lonely sometimes considering I used to get many texts and calls from my ex...

But then again it's a sigh of relief ......no more "where are you " who you with " what you doing" "complaining or bitching about her work " "buy me this plz" etc....
