I was in Paris this fall after a hiatus of 12 years. I cannot how dirty the city has gotten in that time. Graffiti everywhere, grime, unfinished construction and protest. I would also recommend being careful if taking the subway. In London the tube is used by everyone to travel. It felt like in Paris most of the conversations in the Metro were not in French. I’m not a white guy, I’m just amazed by how white folks in Europe have abandoned important parts of their countries.

I haven't been to Paris in 8 years. It was a huge turd world dump back then, since the recent Muslim invasion on steroids, it's likely only gotten worse.

Be wary of strangers approaching you, it's more than likely a pick pocket scam. When I would shout at obvious scammers in French that I couldn't speak English, they would have the most puzzled looks on their faces since they didn't know what to do next. I f'd up their script.

Be careful. Muslims carry knives and they won't hesitate to use them. I had a Muslim taxi driver hold me up with a knife in Amsterdam. Such wonderful people. All the taxi drivers in France are Muslims.

Be leery of using the Metro, especially at night. My mother and I were in the Metro in mid-day when a drunk African Muslim was violently sexually harassing an Asian lady right in front of us. All of the Asian tourists in our car ran screaming to the farthest side as possible, even the men. My mom could tell that I wanted to open a can of whoop ass on the guy, but she talked me out of being a White Knight. The Asian lady ran off at the next stop while the drunk Muslim guy stumbled off slowly. My mom told me to get her out of that shitty country ASAP.

The only places I liked were Normandy and Versailles. Other than that, France is skippable.

Sainte chapelle. It’s a stained glass chapel like nothing you’ve ever seen before. It’s on the same island as Norte dame if I remember correctly or somewhere near it.

There is the Albert Kahn photography museum and gardens just outside of Paris. The Metro/Underground is a blessing.

without a doubt the best part of Paris. if you've never seen a bunch of Van Gogh work up close, be prepared to literally shit your pants, his work is so much more amazing in person. so many amazing pieces at that museum, many of my favorites, more than the Louvre.

Take part in the riots if they haven't petered out yet. Paris is cool and all, but it's the countyside that is the real gem. Have fun and make sure to get an RFID scrambling wallet before you go and check all ATMs for card reading gadgets... I got my card cloned in london last month and got jyped out of 3 grand American... Don't be me, cover your shit.
