Exactly. It can take 50 years or 100 years or 200 years etc. Collapses happen slowly. It's not like, one day, everything changes 180 degrees and then there is a Fallout or Mad Max kind of environment. It's like shit, slowly leaking into your house, drip, drip, drip... And the shit started leaking in the 1800s in the Western world. Maybe even before the 1800s. Look at what happened to the Romans. Once a patriarchy for men by men, an honorable and pragmatic society with an empire on top of the world that slowly decayed into shit. Eventually getting conquered by the Germans and Turks.

Bingo. Someone else always comes in and becomes the new conquerors. In my opinion, as a history buff, I would personally bet on the Chinese taking over the West. They have the wealth and influence. Arab and African migrants have next to no education or knowledge of finances, so they won't exactly be able to do much in Europe accept cause terrorist attacks, violence and stoke the flames of resentment against the elites. And aside from a few rich oil kings and religious zealots in the ME, they mostly can be controlled by a larger and more well-armed opponent. India is a wild card, with so many people and resources, but I'm not sure what kind of difference they will play.
China efficiently controls rebellion and unrest in their own country. Hell, some foreign countries even bow to China and let them dictate affairs concerning Tibet, Taiwan, and the like. Google themselves even kowtowed and censored their searches just to compete there.
I'd start learning Mandarin or Cantonese. In the future, it might be useful. The Chinese love business; as long as they get to dictate the terms of the deal.

If you're so inclined, I recommend Glubb's essay, "Fate of Empires", it's a quick read at only 26 pages, free pdf online. Puts things into historic perspective; what we are seeing has happened before many times; same patterns in societies around the world. One of my takeaways is that his phases (he calls them Ages) are consistent, and there is very little that can be done to reverse them or avoid the subsequent phases. Average duration of an empire / society, 250 years, roughly 10 generations.

Considering that Europe has been in a more-or-less constant state of conflict up until very recently and the EU is falling apart, it strikes me as fairly obvious that some will have armed conflicts. I mean Ukraine still has an ongoing civil war that nobody ever talks about for some reason. What will happen in North America seems far less certain to me though. Also with China rising as the next big boogieman following the USSR, who knows maybe the West will rally around fighting that.

Just a simple 'hello' like normal human beings do when they cross paths on an abandoned road for example clearly isn't what they want. They want you to worship them or they want you to hate them. But don't do that normal stuff, because it doesn't match with how they were treated their entire life.

Eh, I think religion is excellent for enforcing moral behavior in people, but it's packed with way too much superstition and anachronistic baggage for me to actually support it.
