So, I was gonna comment that it's the opposite of MGTOW, until I saw the dude in the left making his escape.
Yeah, that's basically it. Although real life - for men, anyway - would include a section called "Divorce", where you're pushed against a belt sander until your legs are gone.
Otherwise, yep.
[β]ABrokenBeing46 points47 points48 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Thatβs the beauty of MGTOW though, itβs teaching a lot of us younger guys the nature of marriage and giving us an opportunity to skip divorce.
[β]MGTOWards10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Oh, definitely.

I'm clearly too tired. I saw Abe and thought, "Lincoln never said that".

Getting divorced sucked. Being divorced is awesome!
[β]Roastie_haiku_bot0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Eggzackly! I love it...lots of money, and coming home to NO FUKN DRAMA.
From watching my father's experience - yeah, pretty much. Long and painful process, terrible for everyone.
Two years later, and the final support payment goes to her (he got my sister, barely, so no child support; still had to support her for two years. Daylight fucking robbery). Anyway. Last payment to her, he takes stock.
He'd had two promotions since getting rid of her. Previously, he hadn't one in a decade, due to my mother. He was earning substantially more. He was spending more on things like going out to eat. His mortgage rate dropped, but he maintained the 'old' payments - basically overpaying, to decrease the mortgage faster. And yet, he hadn't gone overdrawn in two years, despite routinely going overdrawn when she was around and contributing an income.
It's a shame it cost so much to get rid of her. Had God simply hit her with a lightning bolt one day, life would've been almost perfect. But, still, it's a major step up.
Being divorced is awesome; never marrying in the first place...

Keep running. π
[β][deleted] 42 points43 points44 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Fucking awesome. I love the "unexpected system errors." I think society is going to have a lot more "unexpected system errors" in the future.
All the best, gentlemen MGTOWs.
[β]MesaBoogeyMan23 points24 points25 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yup this is it. What I try to explain to people on the conveyor belt. Run the hell away from as much control as you can.
[β]Gordyne15 points16 points17 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
To become more realistic there should be a lot of spikes, broken glasses and bear traps along that path.
[β]alienreps12 points13 points14 points 7 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
No man,you are wrong, that's the pathetic life are living 99% of men nowadays, almost all non MGTOWs. 1) you go to School and then College (accumulating debt) 2) You find a loser job 3) You get married and if you're lucky u pass rest of the life with a parassit,if you aren't lucky you go through divorce 4) You die. Bye

MGTOW is the one who got away.
[+][deleted] -17 points-16 points-15 points 7 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
So mgtow is also about not working or going to school or university as that is what society expects of its citizens? What do you do for money?
[β]alienreps20 points21 points22 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Work is modern slavery and University became only Indoctrination to shape future cuckpills My idea of MGTOW is a smart man running his own business, and self-instructed
[β]Saix1714 points15 points16 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Look at the picture, there is one dude who jumps off the line between work and family, he has a spotlight on him. Upper left area.
[β]intentionally_vague6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Don't stress. Go your own way. Don't base your happiness on other people. If you wanna go to school, go. If anyone here puts you down for acquiring an education, their views are both elementary and incompatible with 'your way'. Nobody can decide these things for you, and you shouldn't let them try.
[β]chalchium4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You would be surprised at how many people go to Uni only to waste time and get a useless paper. Education comes from many places. Given how anti-boy most of the public schools are, I would not be surprised if male college enrollment rate drop to oblivion. And it is dropping now. This has nothing to do with MGTOW, it is the dysfunction of the society
[β][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Among other things, MGTOW is about escaping marriage and the plantation, going your own way and live a happy life. The little guy in the picture goes to school and work.
[β][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Oh true that makes sense, thanks!
[β]ABrokenBeing3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Look at which part the guys running from.
Heβs gone though school AND work itβs the starting a family section heβs noped out before reaching.
Most of us are going to go through education and engage in the rat race with the mindset of escaping it when possible skipping out on a family and using that time for ourselves and those we care about.
[β]Saix177 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Look again, between work and family a dude jumps off the line. Its pretty easy to miss.

It's indeed a disruptive idea. It's probably one of the most dangerous and devastatingly revolutionary phenomena of our time. And I love it.

[β]miked22763 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Thatβs not MGTOW thatβs American capitalism.
[β]FunkyCannaHigh6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
No....it is not. Capitalism is a tool and you can choose how to use it. You can participate as little or as much as you want. You cannot do that in other types of societies which rely on socialism, communism, Marxism, etc. I do not have a family and I can work as little or as much as I want. However, there are consequences of working too little/too much.
Hell, in our society you can practice communism if you want. Find a group of people that want to own a factory, buy it together, have the "working men/women" own it. Live in a communal house/subdivision/warehouse/farm and all profits go towards the community.
[β]miked2276-2 points-1 points0 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yes. Yes it is.
[β]FunkyCannaHigh2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
How so? I do not have a family and I work as little/much as I want. This invalidates your entire argument as I live in the U.S. and I fully support capitalism. The above graphic does not describe my life at all.

Depending on how fundamentalist you are that guy who's making a break for it is going to hell to be tortured for all eternity. What they don't tell you is the guy who is about to fall into that grave will be respawned at the beginning of the line.
Both of them are going to hell.
[β]I_ysk0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And just like MGTOW, the moments he's been spotted by the system it begins spamming the screen with complaints.
