I have been a MGTOW for a long time and wanted to talk about how I deal with people. You can do whatever you want. Each of us is going his own way. This is mine.

Unlike many of you, I don't have any problem with women wanting to be equal to men, or wanting something other than traditional relationships. I see feminism and equality as a huge societal change that all of us are suffering through. Hopefully when everything shakes out, possibly years from now, we'll figure out a better way to run relationships and families where everyone is equal and respected, but that's not anywhere on the horizon at the moment, so I am checked out and in full monk mode.

I never tell anyone I am MGTOW. I never use the term "MGTOW" to describe myself except to myself IRL. I just tell people I am not interested in dating anyone right now. Sometimes I even say that I just haven't found the right person yet.

This is especially true around women. I know telling them I am MGTOW is going to insult them and nothing more. Maybe it suits your purpose to insult people who may or may not have hurt or bothered you, who knows? That's your way, not mine.

I did tell one woman once I was MGTOW because doing so suited my purpose. She was unfamiliar with the term, but the way I explained it, she replied "I totally understand." In fact, most of the women where this has come up have replied similarly - "I totally understand." Everyone takes a break from dating from time to time.

No one asks me "who hurt you?" because it is obvious that women hurt me. I don't see why this is controversial. I am not ashamed to admit it. It's normal. Everyone who has ever been through a failed intimate relationship has been hurt. Everyone who has been dumped or cheated on, roughly 100 percent of the population worth fucking in the first place, has been hurt.

I would imagine when Congressman John Lewis was trapped on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in 1965 having the shit beat out of him by Alabama cops, he was fucking hurt. He was hurt physically and emotionally, and he reacted to it by more fiercely fighting for civil rights.

The problem with this question is that it suggests we haven't made a reasoned decision to drop out, but are instead going through a temporary emotional reaction. When I first decided to go MGTOW I said nothing to no one for the first year, because I knew people would sneer and laugh and not take it seriously. But after more than three years of monk mode, no one sneers.

As you might glean from this post, I am angry. I am still angry, but I don't want to be. Not because I don't have any right to be, but because going through life pissed off all of the time sucks. No one owes me a sammich. No one promised me anything. Yes, there is a lot of blue pill bullshit infesting our culture, but the fact that so many of us see it shows that it can't last. In the 1940s the blue pill image was reality. For those who play the game carefully and make tons of money, it still can be.

The best part of monk mode is that at gatherings where feminist bullshit comes out, I am not only the only guy in the room with enough balls to take it on and fight it, I feel a duty to do so. That is all I am going to do. It is all I can do.

No one needs or will appreciate me shaking them into consciousness, and to be honest about it, I don't have any fucks left to make me want to do that anyway.

My way.
