I've gotten great value from this community. I'm sharing what has worked for me, in the hope it helps some of you out there. I typically wouldn't offer advice, I've always been sort of 'selfish.' But, every day I see the path more clearly, and that is leading me to becoming less selfish and more helpful to those who are open to be helped. This will also serve as a personal journal to document and think about what I have done right, and learn from what you guys have done right.

Please share the things that have been paramount to your path in GOING YOUR OWN WAY. Thank you!

Here are 11 of mine. In no particular order:

1) Philosophy (especially stoic philosophy) via youtube audiobooks. Think deeply, think a lot. Use your mind, usefully.

2) Be active. Have an active body and mind. Idle hands and idle minds are the devil's playground.

- For physical activity mine are lifting and Muay Thai

- For mental activity mine is constantly learning meaningful things that add value to my life and help me understand myself and navigate this world (Philosophy, human nature/psychology, work-related skills, finances, history, geopolitics, etc.)

3) Be modest. Be modest in your appearance, possessions, nature, speech, behavior, desires, ambitions, etc. Know when you’ve had enough. Know when to stop. And actually stop.

4) Health. Eat healthy things for your body. Ingest healthy thoughts for your mind. I would say that "mind-food" is much more critical to overall health than body-food. Make an effort to avoid and reject negative and valueless people, friends, family, suggestions, ideas, philosophies, ideologies, thoughts, impulses, media, etc. Be careful of what influences you.

5) Take action. Do not procrastinate. Find your lane and give your life direction. Do not waste your time. Your time in this world is extremely limited. Find a purpose/passion. If you don't have one, force yourself to find or make one. Mine: martial arts and learning

6) Seek not to only take, but also give. Give back in some way. Mine: teaching

7) No porn. None at all. Ever. There are many kinds of pornography. Pornography is EVERYWHERE. There is the sexual kind. There is also food pornography (fast food, ice cream, junk food, etc.) This food is profane, vulgar, degenerate, and debases your body. Other types of porn include: consumerism, advertising, social media, certain ideologies, etc.

8) No masturbation. Don't even caress/massage your penis. I still sometimes get aroused/erections without self-input. But now I'm mostly at a point at which in order to get sexually aroused I have to make an effort. Seek to not be sexually aroused. And do not arouse yourself. That is my next goal.

9) Seek freedom from desire. Desire to not desire, and avoid temptation. Instead, seek peace, security, and quiet.

10) Take care of your finances. Seek financial security.

11) Do not let paradoxes or doubts deviate you from the path. For example, as you embark on your MGTOW path and start doing things right, you may experience the seductiveness of the devil. The ‘devil’ may, and will, appear in all sorts of ways. Some examples:

· Women will start to seek you out and beg to lay with you

· Stronger erections, sexual energy and vigor than ever before

· Cultural, societal, or peer-pressure to make exceptions and slip from your path. Do not slip. If you slip, you fall.

The ‘devil’ will be inconspicuous and slowly try to seep into your life, make you stray from the path, and ultimately lead you to your demise. Be very wary.

Please remember to share your own things that have straightened you onto, and kept you, on your MGTOW path. Thank you.
