I've been on this subreddit for years now. I've had many usernames (doxxing is real. Stay safe) and I've even made a couple posts before, but I hadn't made a full transition until this year, I believe. I was doing some introspection as I built a doghouse just yesterday. One of my favorite hobbies I've found thanks to the advice received here. I love building things and going into autopilot as I meditate. Who says you need to stand still to meditate? You don't. During this meditation it hit me just how far I've come and all it took was to just stop giving a fuck about what people think of me.

Let me give you some background: I am a 28 year old who grew up with a fatherless father. My dad didn't have the priviledge of having a father growing up, so it should come as no surprise when I tell you that, even though he's a great guy, he wasn't the best father. He wasn't abusive, or even missing from my life, it's just that me man doesn't have a clue of how to be a role model because he never had one himself. In a way, through his passivity as a role model he taught me what I consider to be the most important lesson he's given me: Do not be like me. You be a role model for your kids. It was this realization that brought me to this subreddit and other self-improvement forums, and what a voyage it has been!

See, I hit puberty soon. Way too soon. And way too quickly. I was fully grown at 13. A legit 6'2 and a v-taper at 13. I actually have stretch marks to this day from it. Genetic lottery for sure. If there's something my dad gave me without doubt it's the big boy gene. Another thing he gave me is bad advice on how to deal with being the natural alpha at 13. See, I have always been an asshole. There's video evidence of me. Last Christmas we were watching old VHS tapes of the vacations we took in the early and mid 90s. And there I am, a little 5 year old prick talking shit to my uncle who was 7 years older. Straight up making a kid already in junior high piss his pants in embarrassment. So what the hell went wrong along the way?

BAD ADVICE is what went bad. My father, with the best of intentions of course, pretty much indoctrinated me into betahood. No, malditoduende77, it is wrong of you to believe yourself superior to others. No, malditoduende77, you should not tell unconfortable truths. No, malditoduende77, you shalt not covet your neighbor's wife. No, malditoduende77, don't play so rough, the other kids will feel bad you're so much better at them at sports. The list goes on. My dad pretty much taught me how to be a doormat, just like him. He actually feels good about talking people's bullshit. In a way, he can come off as a stoic, the man has the virtue of patience for sure. But you don't wanna be him. Believe me.

What changed, then?

As I grew older into young adulthood, I started realizing people simply do not play by the "rules". I refused to swallow the red pill life itself fed me when I stumbled upon my crush getting assfucked by football players in the locker room. The bitter pill it tried to feed me when being a good coworker didn't get me promotions. The bitter pill it tried feeding me when I got into a lifetime debilitating accident and literally no one gave nor gives a fuck to this day. I was confused. Why? I am a good man. I play by the rules. I do the right thing. I get in no one's way. Why is life so unfair to me, then?

And then I found The Red Pill

And guess what? Turns out that it not only is OK to realize where you naturally stand, or should stand, in society's hierarchy ladder, but it is what you should be doing! You should also never stop climbing it. It is not only OK to tell uncomfortable truths, you must do so or else you'll be the one feeling bad after a confrontation. It is OK to fuck married women, for you are not the homewrecker, they are. They are the ones who signed an agreement, not you. It is OK to be the very best not only at sports but at life, fuck the ones who fall behind, they will only get in your way. The list goes on, and I don't intend to repeat what has been written on this forum for years. Sort by most upvoted and read those posts. This post is about the moment in my life when I realized I had made the turn from chump to Chad. But first a quick list of the changes I made that got me there:

  • Started lifting and never looked back. I still do 5x5 plus some dumbbell work every other day, to this day.

  • Adopted two Border Collies puppies. These guys changed my life. They're the reason I go on jogs every single day. In short, they've taught me how to be responsible for others. How to lead and protect. How to have patience with those who don't yet know

  • Found projects to work on. I've always liked getting dirty. Trucks. Home improvements. I knew nothing when I started, I can carry my own weight now.

  • Went hunting/fishing. One the realization that I was nothing but a scavenger hit me. I love meat, but I won't dare kill the animal it comes from? What a hypocrite. What a pussy.

  • Changed my perspective on my injury, which taught me to do the same about anything and everything. In short, keeping a positive outlook on life. Before this realization, I'd get bummed out about only being able to deadlift 275lbs. Now I am happy that at least it's not 0 pounds, and hey, I can still walk, jog and fuck just fine. I may never run again, but that's not the important part! The important part is that the accident didn't kill me. It made me stronger. I got down, hard, and got up again. I'm darn proud of it, and the best part? I no longer care if others notice and are proud of me as well.

  • I started being honest with myself. This has shaped my opinions into internal truths. I don't care if you think me listening to Madonna is gay. There's Madonna songs I love (thanks, dad lol) and I couldn't care less about snarky remarks. I actually kinda want the men to shit test me now. It is fun to bring them down to their knees.

You only see what your eyes want to see

How can life be what you want it to be?

You're frozen

When your heart's not open

I am probably forgetting other changes, but those where the big ones and all others stemmed from there.

NOW THE ACTUAL FIELD REPORT

I decided to go on a road trip on my 94' Geo Tracker (the one pictured isn't actually mine). I love that thing. Cheap, indestructible, great MPG, will go places not even expensive Rubicons will dare. I started in the Midwest (where I moved to after reading a post here about how big cities are a scam) and made it all the way back home to California. I went off-road every chance I got. It was a lot of fun. Not only did I get to genuinely see the States in all its splendor, but I also met a lot of cool people. I beat many fears. I fucked girls. The closer I got to California, the closer I got to being the man I wanted to be. Travel and adventure really does make you a better man. I can't recommend it enough.

So I get to Cali and everyone who'd been following my adventures on IG wanted a piece of me. I swear, I had never been so popular before, but everyone acted as if this was the real me, as if I had always been this fucking awesome. It was a mind fuck. Truly, the past in non-existent, and the future is composed of now (forgot who said that originally). I meet at the studio with this friend who is still playing in this band (nothing big, just some guys playing rockstar on their free time) Their girls are there, other girls are there, other male friends are there. A good 25 people gathered, all for me.

So I get to the studio on this 94' Tracker. As you saw in the picture I posted, it is a tiny car. You know what they say about big men who drive little cars. We have small dicks and/or are faggots. I mean, we also have small dicks and are faggots if we drive trucks apparently, but whatever. The point is I drive into the parking lot and they are all out there smoking joints and what not. It doesn't take long for the guys there to be seemingly bothered by their girls giving me and my dogs all the attention. I am telling stories, cracking jokes, the girls love it, most guys not so much. They start getting catty. Shit-test 101. Comments about the car, the dogs (apparrently Border Collies are gay? Go figure) and what not. I deflect it all with humor. After all, I'm on vacation, I intend to have a laugh every chance I get.

I put my eyes on this girl. She told me she was single, but AWALT. Turns out she'd been fucking this dude, but weren't official, but as you all know a beta will assume exclusiveness because he deludes himself into believing since he's loyal, she'll be as well. In reality he isn't loyal, he's just out of options, but she isn't. She has me in front of her. This manlet is nothing compared to me. He subconsciously, and maybe even consciously, knows it. The girl asks me about the canoe on my car and teases me about it being for decoration only. I tell her about how I intend to go canoeing at the beautiful Californian beaches and how I have become an adrenaline junkie during my road trip and am hoping to run into a shark or two since they are one of my greatest fears and I want to beat that fear. At this point, even though we're in a group, we seem to be interacting only with each other.

This pissed Mr.Manlet off. He makes a comment about how I don't have the balls to face a shark. Now, this wasn't just playful teasing from an old friend. I didn't even know the fuck. He had being trying to AMOG me (so cute lol) all night and I about had it with his bullshit and honestly was started to get bored of them all. So I say "Well sharks in the Pacific aren't that big anyways. The biggest one you'll find is about 6 feet long, around my size is a good comparison, but most you run into in shallower water are much smaller, kinda like <this dude's name> size, so not very menacing at all. A good tap to the nose and they leave you alone". Plausible deniability is beauty. I got away with sucking my own dick and giving him an ego punch all in one sentence and everyone found it to be hilarious. Manlet 0, malditoduende 1. I then without hesitation tell the group I'm getting worked up just talking about it, I extend my hand to this girl and ask her to join me. She's like "wait, like right now right now?" I tell her I don't waste any time, give some cheesy line about life being short yada yada, she eats that shit up and is in my Tracker and I drive away happy, with my dogs and my new partner in adventure. Needless to say I fucked this girl that very same night.

So there, Fucking grow a pair and be true to yourself and go out and live. And stop being such a delicate little bitch. It is fucking fun. Stop waiting for the right time. The right time is now. Stop taking care of your body so much, what's the point in getting to the grave with no scars? Boring. I regret waiting until my late 20s to understand all this. Fucking do it. You won't regret it.
