Time.

That's about it. You'll mope, pout, cry, and that's all natural so get as much of that shit out as you can, look at old photos, old home movies, sad movies, whatever gets you going.

If you're into goal directed behavior, assuming you have hair, shave your head. Allow yourself to be a grieving snot monster over your fucked up situation until your hair grows a particular length.

Then pick yourself up and move on. Feel free to feel fucked and enjoy those emotions that can be fun. Eventually you'll get tired of it, and you'll start growing again. Hit the gym, learn to cook if you don't, eat healthy, go vegetarian a month or two in order to change your internal chemistry and alter your brain to help you out.

Do not jump into another woman's arms. Opportunities will come up and you'll feel tempted. And in some cases it works, but it's just a crutch that usually goes wrong.

I would recommend taking in MGTOW knowledge, and really thinking it over and internalising it. Look at your own life and history with your wife and see if what you’re learning is true and draw your own conclusions from it.

Use this time to (1) understand not just the symptoms of female nature, but also the reasons behind it, and (2) understand male nature (introspection is often something men are not very good at).

During this time, you may initially feel awakened, then angry, then depressed (and this may repeat). However in time, you should be able to reach acceptance and make peace with it.

Concepts like hypergamy, gynocentrism, red pill rage, shit-tests, self-actualisation (not specifically of MGTOW origin, but still valid), the Alpha/Beta dichotomy, and so much more will be explained which all help to clarify male/female dynamics in today's world. Speaking personally I’m forever grateful for my first ever exposure to MGTOW via a youtube “recommended video” from Sandman. One year later, I feel more at peace than ever before.

The key is to work through the red pill rage but not to stay there picking the same wound over and over. At some point you need to get past it and find peace. I don't know if you're religious, but if you are, prayer may help.

Not trying to pry, but I’m curious, did your wife sleep with someone else? If so, you have the moral high ground, and I would therefore avoid sleeping with her (or running to another woman) at all costs (unless you want to reconcile and give your marriage another go). Putting your feelings for her to bed is critical, and MGTOW content can help you do that.

I was also married for 10 years. Of course my situation was slightly different in the fact that I orchestrated my divorce to occur, but that's not for this post.

The easiest way I kept the red pill in my throat was to remember the irritating things my ex would do: If I found that a woman was catching a bit more than my eye, I'd remember my bank account when I was married (living paycheck to paycheck), or the demeaning way she spoke to me in public, or the constant blabbering of non-logical thinking.

It took me nearly 3 years before I dated again.... That lasted about 6 weeks.

I cannot not think about those degrading aspects of her mentality. The more time I spent around couple friends, the more I could see the red pill red flags in their relationship.

AWALT is a demonstrable fact. The worst aspects of it rears its head whenever the woman is in a 'secure' relationship.

Keep those things that were horrible in your relationship as close to the forefront of your mind as possible. Don't think of them as things that were done to you, but things that taught you. Play a game with yourself.... Walk around a grocery store, look at couples, look for the way she is treating him, pick out the blatant red flags.

Keep strong in the fact you have been through the abyss and have had the revelation. Now on to the second half of the 'hero's journey'.
