Long time reader, first time poster. I will keep this brief, but I had to thank TRP and emphasize a few different points.

I started to swallow the Red Pill a few years ago. I was brought here after I struggled with girls. I was always ending up in the friend zone, I was beta x 10000 and was basically just a huge pussy. I had a 2.7 GPA, I had no friends, and I was a disgrace at sports.

I came to the RedPill after I had a serious hiccup with a girl in the last year of high school. After reading tons of material on this page and on the sidebar, I learned one of the most valuable concepts was not about girls. It was to focus on yourself, your goals, and becoming a better version of yourself. I started caring less about girls, and more about my academics, financials, and my sport. Once I started to excel in those parts of my life, I realized that everything else soon followed part. I realized that nothing else really matters to me. I became obsessed with my sport and my academics. I lifted and trained everyday, I watched film anytime I could, and I found myself working in the library to the early morning many days.

Three years later, I'm going into my final year of college. I have a 3.9 GPA, a terrific job setup for the fall, and I was named All American in my sport. On campus people look up to me and people respect me. All my success's have boosted my SMV drastically. I have great friends, and I have found myself much better success with woman.

I cannot thank TRP enough for turning my life around. I realize this isn't a normal post, but I just needed to reach out to the community. I think the concept of following your goals gets overlooked a bit in the midst of all the sexual strategy, but I think it is the most important by far. I'm the happiest I have every been in life at the moment, and I attribute that to this sub for getting my going. Thank you TRP.

TL;DR: Follow your goals and everything else will come into place.
