Most men/boys receive very little leadership if any during their lives. Even if they have a male adult around most of them dont give a fuck anyway.

To me, this is far too deep to be saved, it's like fighting a waterfall, you gotta let it collapse.

I think of adoption also but I have some doubts. Because you should see how the 9 months history of the baby while he/she in the uretus of a waymen. Fetus absorbs negative feelings in there surrounding. For example mother who are in their 3rd trimester and witness a stressful event. eg.marital violence, crime, car accident, 9/11. It raises the stress hormone cortisol in mother then passes to the umbilical chord. And the baby itself feels that.

I think surrogacy is better. Pick a desirable women to carry your sperm, sign contract then pay. Monitor the pregnancy. And if the baby is out. Her work is done. Raise the child to your hearts content.

I would love to find a mentor of my own. You would be doing amazing work.

Specifically, I realized four years too late that I want a different degree but I'm getting it because I'm so close to graduating anyway. I'm going to teach myself how to code (I already know frontend development stuff but I want to do Python, R, etc.) and then get certified in some program. I ultimately want to get into Bioinformatics but I screwed up and don't have great grades. My plan is to apply for a Master's (which I can get) AFTER I get out of debt, get great grades there, then get my PhD in bioinformatics. Luckily, I'm from Canada and my student loan debt isn't horrible compared to US. I could have really done with a mentor to know how a career path works and get my ass in gear sooner.

If not... then the possibility of this -- of finding some younger guy to "take under your wings" be a mentor/friend to -- still exists.

A big part of it is being open -- making yourself open, creating or joining the circumstances that make it possibly -- to encounter an opportunity to develop such a friendship/relationship... if & when it arises -- and so purposefully engage in the kinds of activities (hobbies, especially those where some club or group gatherings exist) -- where you will perchance encounter other men of various ages (some older than you, some younger). And keep in mind he adage:

The lucky man is he who knows how much to leave to chance.

There are a LOT of people out there in this wide world -- if, instead of chasing after 'pussy' -- you begin to be "about your business" (and hobbies) while keeping a "lookout" for your fellow MEN, then you may just encounter one or two younger guys who "fit" that bill.

Particularly these days, when no on else gives a shit about young guys.

If you start to "give a fuck" -- WITHOUT trying to be overbearing and "in control" -- that is be a FRIEND and a helper/advisor, not some asshole (though it won't hurt to do a bit of "sparring" back and forth, young guys need THAT too; they're not just "charity" cases, and the BEST guys to have as friends you can "mentor" are the ones who don't WANT the "charity", will in fact rather balk at the mere notion, prefer to stand on their own two feet... those kind, ah they're golden, like "diamonds" in the rough... and ironically they're the only ones WORTHY of the assistance).
