This hits hard when you realize your whole life is programmed for these ideals, and you wake up and see the light.

Today when I mentioned to my dad that when I retire at 44, I can live/work wherever and have a low income because I won't need to work much unless I want to. I told him it'd be fun to be a barista for a little while in a foreign country. He looked shocked and said, "well if you have a family you won't be able to do that." I keep hinting at me being mgtow without coming out, and he genuinely wants me to become a slave.

He's married twice. First wife 3 kids, second 3 kids aren't his who are overwhelming for him. He takes any chance he can get to travel away from home for work. I ask, why would he want me to be in debt like him and work 60 hours a week at 58 years old?

the problem is... without stupid people there would be no rich people. It's good the way it is now because its kinda easier to achieve something but it sucks because we have esoterica knowledge that others dont have access to unless they somehow changed their mind.
