A plate recently said this to me, "[Dank] I wish we had done this sooner. I wish we did this a year ago" after hooking up--she was moving across the country, and lamenting that we didn't have more time together.

I had met her a couple of years ago previously, but she missed my radar because she was under 21--I typically don't mess around with ladies I can't take out to the bar. But if I'm honest, that's just hamstering. I had failed at juggling a couple of plates last summer; tried to LTR one of them, lost both in the process. At the time I wasn't in the correct frame to chase a third.

Lessons reinforced:

How do I attract someone of higher-perceived SMV (aka younger women)? Hold a frame that's worth more than hers. I accomplish this in-part by volunteering in my free time, and holding a second job in the adventure sports industry. It builds social proof, keeps me active, increases my skill set, and introduces me to girls far younger than myself. When I give my time to others it's because I'm offering them value.

What does chasing a LTR/oneitis get myself? Decreased SMV. It's time you could have spent on your mission, or prospecting new plates. When she said, "I wish we had done this sooner," she meant I wish you had acted sooner. Do not let anyone corner your market value, and monopolize your time--especially not yourself, stop procrastinating. She literally told me I could have plated her a year earlier, but at the time I was busy hamstering my way into exclusivity with someone else instead.

How do I begin to juggle plates? Don't offer exclusivity, and don't offer too much time. The only thing that increases your value as a man is your mission (wealth, fitness, skills, and wisdom). Success in the sexual marketplace is a by-product of this. When you offer a plate full access to your availability or exclusivity you are prioritizing her over your mission. This is a one-way ticket to providers-ville, and it's only a matter of time before she starts treating like the way you are acting.

How should I be prospecting new plates? Assume attraction. Let her do the work of qualifying your worth. She's going to rely on social cues (social intelligence), so don't do the work of providing a reason (logical intelligence) for her not to sleep with you--even if it may be legitimate (I'm moving, you're moving, you're too young, I'm too old, I'm broke, ect...). You may be surprised by who thinks your SMV is worth chasing. Give them an opportunity to chase you by offering a fraction of your time, being playful, and unattached.

The original title of this was going to be "Shit Plates Say."

Instead let's reinforce the mantras: A. All plates eventually break, and B. that shouldn't matter as long as you're having fun.

You don't remember what you had from lunch last month, and you shouldn't care about the plate that fell out last month either. Holding on to an oneitis and mentally-masturbating over what went wrong is like listing off the ingredients, portion sizes, and macros from that meal you prepared last month: it's tedious, no one cares, and it keeps you distracted from your next meal. Stop procrastinating; you have work to do.
