He gets to buy the pizza, deliver it to her and smell it throughout the process.

After that he gets to rummage through the bins behind the pizza parlor but only after closing time becuase during business hours he has to labour to buy more pizza despite the fact that the original delivery contained enough calories to sustain her throughout the entire week.

As it turns out metaphorical pizza is unlikely to lead to actual heart disease and an early demise so he will get to do this for many years to come.
