As a 30 year old, if I could give advice to my 20 year old self it would be this.

Build your credit. Buy assets, not liabilities. Learn how markets work. Use money from credit to buy assets (stocks, crypto, options, futures, real estate). As long as your rate of return exceeds your interest you're good. And LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS!

Learn how to negotiate and sell! Can't overestimate this skill enough.

Think of life as a video game. Always be leveling yourself up in strength, skills, and smarts. Your image (avatar) is the expression of your beliefs. Build your personal avatar and inner beliefs and mindset with this foundation and DON'T BE AFRAID TO FAIL. You can always restart if you continue GYOW.

When you work a job, always monkey branch to something better, but don't burn bridges. Do a good job, then leave gracefully with a 2 week notice. Having referrals and contacts is golden.

The purpose of life is to be inspired and inspire others. If you're not going to replicate yourself genetically, replicate yourself by inspiring others with your experience and perspective. You too can set up the younglings for success, so share red pills freely, but don't cast your pills before swine.

The worst thing an employer can do to you isn't fire you. It is work you to death and say they can't pay you. The implications of that are:

Always be ready to look for new job i.e.: keep your resume updated, suit ready, don't hold off on getting certifications.

Have 6 months emergency fund so that when they stop paying you, you can quit. With 3 months, you may stick around because you think you may not find a job in 3 months.

Keep an eye out for jobs so you can see what skills are in demand. Some skills take more than a few months to learn.

travel freely.

look upon the stars once in a while, seek out a dark area for a meteor shower a few times.

learn a 2nd/3rd language.

buy quality tools but also buy used computers and run linux.

learn your self. work smarter, not harder.

wear sunglasses, stay focused, learn to ride a horse or fly a plane/helicopter, and to live off the land. Learn to use a Bow, hunt/fish, and start a garden.

take better care of things people give or loan you, and always repay them.

Leave shitty people behind, and stay in touch with good people you meet.

don't lie. If you have to make sure you're not lying to yourself b/c you might believe it someday.

donate blood, and know your blood type. (also, I recently read there's certain foods to each type with pros/cons... not sure how accurate it is yet).

prepare for your robotic overlords, and whatever you do, happy trails.
