I am talking about some of the posters here who go out of their way to attack those who may be religious or even just vaguely make reference to religious concepts in their posts.

These people need to make a big point that they are atheists, and viciously tear down others for the smallest "infractions" against their self-professed ideals. I am talking about posts that are not proselytizing at all but are simply making religious references.

It really does not take much to set these people off.

I will give you a case in point: awhile back, I posted a bible verse that basically agreed with everything the OP said in his post, just to show how things never change. This guy responds by going into a paragraph diatribe against me, like what? Although I have my own beliefs, I like to read and quote from a variety of thinkers, ideas, and belief systems, because I like to have an open mind. But some people here just don't.

If you are an atheist, that is fine, but don't let that beard growing out of your neck cloud your vision and reason.
