The myth of the loyal Chinese farm girl or whatever persist because the females in some cultures actually retain female characteristics such as not being obese and superficial (public) deference to the breadwinner. Compare that to your average American female today and it's easy to see why a lot of men look abroad. I mean, if you're gonna roll the dice, at least keep it interesting.

Don't lose sight of how often a guy marries an entire family and extended relatives in the process of marrying abroad.
