Went out with a woman a few years ago with four kids, she made six figures, had a nice house, which was nicely furnished. This was the façade. In reality, the four kids had two different fathers (she was "well used"); she made six figures but she needed over-draft to cover her monthly expenses (ex. just one hair appointment cost over $250); the nice house and furniture all bought on debt and she was deeply in debt, which was why she was struggling with her expenses, which she wouldn't cut.
