How important is to you to be 100% happy (or almost) in your job? Do you have your dream job?

I like my current job. As a MGHOW, I also have the flexibility to move on to a happier job if this one stops satisfying me. No wife or children to tie me down and make me slave away begrudgingly.

I am certain many of the other fine gentlemen here find themselves in the same position.

To me having a love of my work is one of the prime reasons for existence. Creative work with a long-term big picture and ownership of my results leading to extraordinarily high income.

It's why I love being an entrepreneur, but I'm trying to think broader than my current business, which pays the bills and is enjoyable but not my TRUE passion and a major challenge to scale beyond a certain point.

I'd like to make more of my money from content creation (video, music, art, writing). Also, my next business model will be 10x more scalable than my current one, by putting into place all the business lessons I've learned for almost 8 years.

Making and building and designing stuff and getting it out to the world is what makes me proud. It's also the route to hella cash (where 6 figure income is just a drop in the bucket) All these things are interesting and cool to me :)

I'd say I have my dream job (entrepreneur / creator) BUT I need to refine it more for the purpose of even greater fulfillment, greater impact, and higher income. It's a process!

Knowing what your dream job would be is one thing, actually getting that job is another

For me, as long as I don't outright hate my job and reasonbly enjoy the subject matter, I'm fine with it

Would I prefer to be an F1 driver or fighter pilot? Sure, but it's pretty unlikely that's going to happen

I don't think any job can make you 100% happy but I really enjoy the work I do , I never thought I was smart enough to do it in the first place and so I've lived a childhood dream and now I've reached a point in my career where most of it is second nature.

If you love your job you never have to work a day in your life. While I personally love my job I would say most people either hate or just tolerate their jobs. Jobs are now seen as a means to an end rather than fulfilling which I did sad but for real, no one on this planet enjoys cleaning sewers or taking out garbage so we will always have people that hate their jobs.

I don't have my dream job (this is probably some Hollywood fantasy), but I'm generating some good money. So no financial stress anymore. I can take care of my father and be fully independent. It's also a long term job. I'm happy where I'm at.

as soon as I got completely debt free at 27 I bounced from hospitality management position with large company in NYC and moved home working for a winery 30-35 hours a week in associate role. I guess for me I came to the fork in road of choose your life or a career and I chose my life. Just not a workaholic and no job will ever be enticing enough to dedicate all time and effort to unless someone wants to pay me to play guitar and watch hockey routinely.

I’d say I’m like 99% happy, full time, make 30/h, work from home, own small home that is easy to maintain, 1% un happy is more the lawn and it’s water rention issue, mainly due to clay but I plan to rip up a big chunk of my back yard to build a garden.
