Reading that piece was a joy, but also kind of a painful memory for me. I studied to become a history professor back when I was in college but moved away from that path after the Professor I was a TA for warned me of the encroaching SJW tide back in 2014. He was right though, it was impossible then to talk about subjects such as the adverse effects of multiculturalism and the even the benefits of imperialism and colonialism without being shut down by some outraged student even then. I can't imagine how rotten it must be now.

It's refreshing to see such content published man. Thanks for bringing up bittersweet memories.
