They're not shallow, they just have access to a lot more validation via social media than they would otherwise. Imagine going from the age of 15-30 being told by dozens, if not hundreds or thousands of strangers, that you're amazing and smart and beautiful. That has a way of fucking up your perspective. Plus thanks to tinder, even the most average women can fuck a guy way out of her league a few times before he gets bored of her. So 15 years of fucking guys out on your league who won't settle for you, but also being told your amazing, that would fuck up anyone.

They keep being told they’re a goddess just for existing and should settle for nothing less than their ideal no matter what, but simultaneously told they are perfect just the way they are.

Result is a bunch of 5/10s looking for 9/10 guys

Women no longer have to marry in order to survive, or depend on men as a source of income like in previous generations. Today's women have grown up being able to support themselves. Since their materialistic needs are largely taken care of, they can afford to pick their partners based on height, looks, etc.

BTW, mark my words, it's only going to get worse over time. As women's standards become more and more unrealistic, today's "average joes" will be tomorrow's omega males/incels. Once that happens, the West will be in serious trouble.

Social media is great for marketing and business opportunities, but I gotta admit it has induced shallowness and narcissism to an extreme extent.

It’s the logical conclusion when society is so comforting to women, with little consequences to their actions. Women in poorer nations are less shallow and more wiling to accept providers. Here they reject providers until they have no options remaining.

.True. Women swipe right on fewer than 15% of men on tinder. The moment you can’t pay their bills for them AND buy them gifts every day, they up and leave and blame you for the relationship falling apart. It’s ridiculous. It’s why I’m monk mode for the rest of my life.

Another thing that REALLY annoys me is girls who care about their social media so much. Themed Instagram pages, always trying to post artsy pics of their food and sunsets “because they’ve always wanted to be a photographer.” The basic tricks who all have the same exact style social media drive me nuts lol. I unfollowed like 200 out of the 300 I follow on instaG because I couldn’t stand to look at the same attention-whoring any longer.
