I'm currently a janitor working in retail as a summer job until I take up the trades this fall.

Today, a loud-mouth bitch from another department yelled at me in front of the customers to clean a small mess up and proceeded to treat me as if I were mentally retarded. After I got done, I went on break, then I walked up to her and simply said: "I really don't appreciate you yelling at me earlier, I'm just trying to do my job."

She then got defensive and insisted that I took her blatant disrespect the wrong way. So to save my ass, I told her: "It's no big deal," and walked off. I enjoy where I work, but I absolutely refuse to be treated like scum just because I mop floors, that doesn't make a bitch any better than me.
