We headed to Boondocks for a few hours tonight. It's a local place with bowling, mini golf, arcade, laser tag, etc. My boys are mid-teens and their mom lives out of state - she filled a year ago then moved.

Soon after we got there, two of the neighbor's sons, friends of my boys, also showed. The 5 of us hung out the entire time. I haven't had that kind of fun since I was a teen, decades ago. I have a great relationship with my sons, so they didn't ditch me. Actually, each time we'd finish a game of something, they were asking "what do you wanna do next??" We spent HOURS going through the place, laughing the entire time. Got the high score for the night on Galaga, too!

Be present, figuratively and literally, with the people that mean something to you. This was a great memory. Thought it was worth sharing with this crowd.
