Because if you're old enough (I'm 51) you loved your grandmother and saw her taking care of your grandfather. Now grandma wasn't a hottie by the time I came around...but I saw pics of her in her youth. The difference between today and yesterday was that a woman was a worthy life partner to her husband. What we forget in today's generation is that our grandfathers and great-grandfathers were the kings of their respective castles...the wife was the second in command (and she knew it).

I think the idea is the wife is supposed to provide something outside of just sex and a hot body. Like helping the husband, providing companionship and so forth.

The problem is, not all women offer much outside of a hot body (assuming they even look good at all).

Then you have chicks who gave their youth to other men but expect you to settle for them. Do I want a woman in her late 30s with a truckload of baggage who gave all her pussy to other men when she was younger? Yeah, no thank you. If I wanted a wife, I'd go to some 3rd world country in SE Asia, Latin America, Africa, etc., and look for an 18 year old with no kids.
