Being able to order at the drive-thru and eat while on the highway vs 'stopping to take a break' that tacks on an extra hour to the ride.

She was always promptly sleeping 30 minutes after that 'break' while I was still staring down 6+ more hours of travel btw.

Not having to take care of someone else's nephews.

Being able to eat Italian, Mexican, or Chinese food without worrying about her or her family members not being able to eat something because of "sickness" or because someone finds certain food icky.

Picking a destination you like and not having to kill yourself organizing just so you find out she or her companions don't like hiking. And then you end up taking them to the mall.

Keeping your wallet intact.

Took my first real solo vacation last spring, rode my Harley around lake Michigan. I've done a lot of long distance rides, but never alone. The difference was amazing. No plan, no route, just packed up the bike one morning and went.

As often as not I'd meet another biker at the gas stops, ask what roads and sights they recommended, and that's where I'd head next.

Towards the end of the trip, the weather got bad, heavy winds and dust. After riding 7 hours, I was sore, tired, and just worn out. Any group would have called it a day and gotten a hotel. Checked the map, realised I was only 300 miles from home, and said "Fuck it". Downed a red bull and some beef jerky, set the throttle lock at 90, spent a few hours "screaming at the gods", and got to sleep in my own bed.

Had to get rid of the bike, but have plans for a new one come spring, and I can't wait to get out and find some new roads.

Not having to stop during events or nights out or vacations to take stupid fucking self-shots of yourself with others or infront of some statue. Not having to meticulously photograph everything unless you feel like doing so. You can actually see and behold and experience the things for yourself instead of staring at it through a phone so you can never watch it again.

No toilet wars. Seat down, seat up, toilet paper here or there. No arguing over any of it. Nobody flushing pads and cigarette butts down your toilet to fuck up your plumbing or clogging it up.

No leg hair in the bath-tub constantly.

When you want to go somewhere, just fuckin' go. When you want to do something, go fuckin' do it. No arguing over where to eat, where to park, what route to take, what music to have on the radio. No waiting for some THOT to put on her warpaint, pluck her eyebrows, blow-dry and straighten her hair, pick out some fuckin' clothes, put the clothes on and worry about how far her GUNT sticks out in the mirror, etc.

You don't have to spend time around people you don't know, don't like or don't give a fuck about. Nor do you have to invite these same people, or the in-laws, over to your house and feed them and entertain them. You don't have to attempt to get along with people that hate your guts or that you dislike to satisfy somebody else. You don't have to hide your guns, knives, collectibles or swords in the closet because her sister is coming over with her stupid bratty ass obnoxious crotchspawn.

No getting elected or enlisted by your wife/girlfriend to go on some mission for somebody else. Moving people's furniture in your truck that you don't even fuckin' know, no mowing the neighbor lady's yard because your girlfriend said you would, and no fucking 'honey-do' list.

If you go on a trip or a vacation, you don't have to wait on her to pack the entire house into ten fucking suitcases or duffel bags for you to lug around. You can grab your shit, stuff your pockets, pack a fuckin' bag and get out on the road. Women ALWAYS overpack for everything. They want to take everything but the kitchen fucking sink with them somewhere and almost never use three quarters of the shit they haul along. Also, no stopping to pee every twenty minutes at sketchy truck stops. No arguing over whether you took the wrong exit or missed your turn either.

No metric shit-ton of various implements, lotions, make-ups, cleansing scrubs, razors, combs, hair ties, hair picks, candles, potpourri, decorative hand-towels that you can't use, brushes, knick-knacks and other assorted sundries on your bathroom counter or placed meticulously around your shower so every time you turn around you'll knock shit over. No six different varieties of shampoo and body wash sitting around unused.

No bickering over what to watch or taking up the TV with videogames.

No twenty catalogs and junk mail offers being crammed into your fucking mailbox every day of the week because she orders shit on credit from sketchy places. Likewise, no fucking debt collectors and salesman calling you on the phone 12 times a day.

These are just a few I came up with off the top of my head.
