You can still have an intimate relationship as a MGTOW, but the thing is, we aren't willing to offer them commitment beyond sexual relations. Marriage and/or cohabiting is completely off the table. But there are also MGTOW that are voluntarily celibate.

Not at all....if you want to be in a relationship, that is also going your own way. This sub mostly applies to guys that have been heavily burned by women. So you will see animosity here, that's what we here have in common.

I don’t think this sub really grasps what MGTOW is. It’s supposed to be about showing that it’s possible to live a normal and beneficial life without going the normal way of wifing someone up and shitting out some babies. It’s not about blaming women. Most of these kats are just incels that stopped trying, and use an otherwise good movement to justify it. There are decent posters. But, the exception isn’t the rule.

Whoa there tiger! No one insults women here; they do that to themselves. We, the majority of men, here just simply point it out with an article, YouTube video, a blog post and our past experiences flaws of women. Granted there are some here that may take it a few steps further but by and large we do not insult women. Does it happen, yes, of course it does; a clock is always right twice a day.

Now take a gander as to what liberalism (marxism) and modern feminism are telling and preaching to women on what is okay behavior? That it is okay to cheat, that it is okay to take a man's earnings and leave him to the wolves. If you don't believe me, just go over to r/Divorce and read the horror stories of men getting screwed over for the crime of getting married. MGTOW is a response, among other things, to the nonsense plaguing the family courts, society, and ideologies that have no basis in American families.

Of course not. It does not mean to avoid intimate relationships with women, some men here are checking out completely, and refusing relationship with women and that is their choice. That is what MGTOW is about: freedom of choice. Other men, like myself, while I will pursue women, but with great caution because we do not to get burned, have an unwanted child or deal with drama. We set the rules, and if they don't like it, the door does open and close, they can leave at any time. We have hobbies, we have dreams, we have things that we like to do, and we do NOT to compromise those things because some woman does not find them appealing or want to change us.

I'm into martial arts, and I do it regularly because to me, it is the ultimate expression of one self, it is how I express myself, and I won't a woman to want to change that. There are women who want to "change" a man. Well, hello? Why would you want to change what makes a man unique? Why do you want to destroy something that he enjoys or his dreams? If anything, she should encouraging him, and not discouraging him. But that is modern day feminism, change or mold a man into their image, destroy him and dump or divorce him; oh yeah, and don't forget, take 80% of what he built!

A lot of people here are new to MGTOW and have recently been turned over by the system and need to vent, then calm down a talk about it and joke about it. Finally they enter the heart-land of MGTOW and just settle down to having a good time.

So first we get misogynistic rants, then blonde jokes and finally pictures of their new boat.

The premise of this sub is to provide a community and support to the men who decided against any committed relationships with women. It's also for answering the questions like yours. We get them couple of times a week, at least....

My understanding of this sub is it’s a place where men can vent their frustrations with the male/female global dynamic as well as to share stories but as far as any solutions go the push here is to tell guys to simply go your own way, do your own thing, walk away. The world wants to do what it’s gonna do, none of us here are likely to change that so the only thing we can do is take notice of it and do right by our individual selves. There was a catch phrase i saw awhile ago and I think it’s accurate “no fair play, we go our own way”
