It’s a ponzi scheme that socialist idiots voted in, just like income tax, another retarded socialist ideas, to make sure see fuhrer gets his cut first while you get nothing.

What have these taxes done for you? A third of your money disappears to taxes. Yet what do you get for it. A third of your life is paying off criminals, do the cops help you? No. They give you fines. Road crews need 12 people to look at a pot hole for 40 days straight. Any time you even look at a a government building you pay a fee.

It requires a constant stream of new and growing “investors”. Then the govt. takes all the money, leaves IOUs, then never pays them back.

They could make up for the shortfall by jnjecting $50 billionnor so, by that’ll interfere with their bribe money.

They’ve robbed us. As always.

It's going to be very difficult for SS if the population starts to decline, which it will if the birth rates continue to decline at the rate they are now.

The reason being is that there is less younger working class people to pay into the system to support the larger quantity of people that are retired and on social security.

Japan has this problem today, but unlike the USA, people care about collectively taking care of the elderly. Here in the USA, we stuff them into retirement homes. These retirement homes attach vacuum cleaners to their wallets and then the rest of us just watch with morbid fascination as it sucks away all their net worth until they die.

The government used social security as a slush fund. And then never returned the money there are more children of baby boomers than there are a Baby Boomers in the workforce. So the problem with the solvency of Social Security isn't money going in versus money coming out by the people it's the government stole it and in return it.

Gonna be harsh, anyone under 60 (maybe even older) who is counting on government support for their old age is a fucking idiot. It's ok to be a fucking idiot, we all do it, but you need to stop doing it now.

I would even go so far as to include defined benefit pension plans in that category, though I would remove the "fucking" and leave it at just "idiot", and lower the age limit for idiothood.

Start planning for your retirement today based on your direct contributions. If you have an employer that matches your contributions, more power to you. Take advantage of that while you can.

Democracy can't work. The have not parasites will always vote to steal from the producers. The ignorant shall lead based on promising more theft, and leading for them will involve deciding on issues such as agriculture, medicine, economy etc that they have no understanding of other than the amount of zeroes the lobbyists (bribers) have placed on the check.

It was not the boomers really that stole that money. It was the crooks using democracy who stole it.
