Turned a 1984 Honda Nighthawk 700 into the fastest bike in the solar system. Not really though.

Could never have afforded or done this if I was married and/or had a child.

Also had these two beauties. 1980 Suzuki GS 750 and a 1997 Kawasaki KE 100

Honda inline 4 is a beast! I used to have a 74 CB750 bobber with after market carbs, intake, and straight pipes. fucker would shake the ground. Of course I was still married at the time and had to sell it because the wife didn't think it was safe. damn that thing was fun. enjoy it brother.

Awesome! Fantastic hobby to have bro! I like the space treatment and the hobby post (keep em coming guys)! I had a bike before I met my ex-wife. At the time we were dating, she told me "OOOOoooooohhhh, a MOTORCYCLE!! I LOVE motorcycles!!" And I though "wow, this girl's a keeper!". One of the first things that had to go once we got married though, was the motorcycle, because of course, she's too afraid I'd get hurt on it. What ACTUALLY almost killed me was when she blew up my life and divorced me (over NOTHING). After I survived this, one of the first things I did was go out and buy myself another motorcycle and start riding again. It was sure good to be back in the saddle! Motorcycles are TAME in comparison to how dangerous wives are to your health! edit: spelling

That's a good hobby. Sadly I saw a friend on facebook selling his bike for his girlfriends debt. I didn't say anything cause we're facebook friends, but I fully expect her to leave him after her debts all paid off.

I'm riding a 1984 Nighthawk 750, which was the displacement everywhere but US, due to some strange import laws. I always loved how they look, and enjoy riding. However you don't know a bike until you ride it, and is it ever top heavy! The power is a little sluggish in low RPM's but hold on above 8K.

Cool bike, but as someone who was a welder by trade before going into business for myself, how did you stabilize that flimsy welding helmet against 65mph+ winds while driving? I noticed the rivets so I'm guessing you have some plate underneath all of that.
