America needs to control its immigration. Every other country on Earth does. Most have stricter controls. A bit more compassion is necessary (kids in cages is bad). But fundamentally, immigration controls need to be strict but fair.

This reminds me of a recent post on Captain Awkward, cringey SJW advice column. Someone wrote

But I'm getting offtrack. At one point in her response the Captain says "And yes I do want completely open borders, thanks for asking!" I'm sure she also wants a decent minimum wage, working condition and an adequate social security system for every American. I do too. But open borders is fundamentally incompatible with these things.

At a very rough guess maybe 200 million people would immediately migrate to America if they could. Who knows. It would be a huge amount anyhow. Throughout history, we've seen how a surplus of labor depresses wages and working conditions. And this would be a very large labor surplus. And the social security system would be stretched to breaking point and fail. Perhaps in time the economy could grow to where it could be restored, but not anytime soon.

I wonder how many other SJWs are daft enough to believe in both completely open borders and a welfare state.

If they cared about children there would NOT be over 2 half a million of American Children in the US homeless shelters system! The influx in migrants is a directed effort to bombard the US with increasing amounts of welfare seeking migrants, this is going to backfire drastically, as the people are sick of paying taxes where hundreds of billions of dollars go towards these migrants, including their free subsidized healthcare. The morals of the US have changed, they are no longer the people of old who grew up in the 1950s traditionalism. I would gladly pay taxes for my fellow citizens, not someone who has contributed fuck all, isn't fleeing from war and gets far more privileges then even the poorest among our own citizenry. If you request asylum due to war reasons, you're welcome, once the war is over then you're going back. If you can't behave during your stay, it's deportation time.

That is why the republican platform today is considered leftist, they do not represent the people any longer and why Trump blew every single one of their globalist pawns out of the water in the front runner, much to the GOP's backstabbing dismay. Then there's senators sitting in the Senate who were born in the 50s living in their ivory towers not seeing what is happening to the US, they no longer represent their voter base whatsoever.

I am not an evil person, and I feel bad for the kids. But I want to point out that during Obama's administration, these facilities already existed, and were holding kids who were traveling alone at the border, and were held in the same conditions.

Nobody cared. Why do they care now? Because Trump is president? Which brings up a few more questions. Why wasn't hell raised during Obama's tenure about this? These things also came out in the news then. But, nobody cared.

I have only lived through 3.5 presidencies. And in none of those did I ever see such hatred, such attacks, on any candidate other than Trump. Why did the media hate him so much? Why?

You see, this is what piqued my interest and actually made me semi root for Trump.

I was like; "Haha if the msm is hating on this dude, while they rooted for Obama and the Hillaryous, you know it's good."

I was also disappointed in the economy. It was an insult having Obama go on media, or the media itself, bloating on how the economy was doing badass and unemployment was 5% and more jobs, and more hiring (dumbass Trump is pumping out this b.s. as well, though).

We don't need H1B or other work visas. I worked at a manufacturer that loved hiring H1B's and other visas, while I had family and friends qualified for these fields who could not find work. Hell, they had a visas worker who just printed stuff and documented e-mails!

Not just that, those H1b's are racist as fuck. They were hella racist to all ethnicities but they're own. Oh and good luck if they take over the lunch trips and all they do is want to eat at nasty ass restaurants that sell food close to they're ethnic cuisine. Gross.

Also, in the pictures on media, I saw a lot of people with signs saying "abolish border, abolish ice". Don't know about you but these signs are tantamount to treason and are highly suspicious. Who funded this? Who would want to abolish our border and its defense system? Only a foreign state would want that. If I were the US government, I'd have the protestors who had these signs under surveillance, maybe that's where the real Russian collusion is taking place.

This is a response to this thread's down-voted comments which claim that politics has nothing to do with MGTOW.

Expansion of Government (democrat ideal) => more people (read: men) pay taxes to support government => more support for the welfare state (i.e. women).

Believe it or not, political outcomes affect men and their freedoms.

MGTOW exists because men have chosen to leave an indoctrinated society. Inherent in this is that MGTOWs seem largely to be against indoctrination, such as we see so much in the news, supporting social engineering policies such as gynocentrism and neo-marxist liberal ideas. Is MGTOW then, a political movement? I'll leave that up to you to decide. I don't know that we're coherent or organized enough to be considered anything resembling a 'movement'. If anything, perhaps sort of an unled, organically grown, anti-fragile, loose-knit, community and creed abstracted from a widespread, underlying instinctual response to social crises and social degeneration.

It seems to me that MGTOW ideals are somewhat conservative: men enforcing their boundaries.

Hear me out on this:

Boundaries signify a static line, which contains something: principles, convictions, creed, etc. i.e. without changing it (i.e. without changing the status quo) or opening up to some outside pressure (openness is more of a liberal trait-- being willing to change the status quo, i.e. antithesis of conservativism)-- you could even call it "holding frame".

This idea that women should go on slut walks as a sign of protest, and that they're not free, or lack rights... this is very much a liberal ideal. Not only that, but it's an attempt to change society to make society more gynocratic and gynocentric. Without any empirical evidence supporting or explaining the benefits of such changes.

I.e. SJW stuff = quite liberal.

MGTOWs seem to really dislike SJW and be a bit more libertarian and socially conservative (at least more-so than SJW nutcases) and appreciative of traditional ideas (i.e. the fact that maybe religions and philosophers, men who literally devotes their lives to thought and study (some for generations i.e. development of religious thought & certain philosophies)... got it right about the nature of women)

MGTOW is much more like "leave me alone and let me do my own thing", which sounds a lot like, "you stay on your side of this line (away from me) and I'm going to stay on my side (and I don't want you coming over to my side to influence me or try to change my life)."
