Hmm, this is an interesting conclusion considering he studied data from U.S. National tournaments. I would think players at that level actually train, rather than just play. He contends that women even at that level (generally) don't train to compete. And, apparently, likewise contends that tournament results don't indicate a disparity in ability. How does one measure ability, save by the result of competition?

I would wager scrabble can at least expand a person's vocabulary which is useful.

I don't even know what scrabble is but bet your ass I'm wasting 30+ hours a day if it means beating a woman at a table game. At least that's what they think goes through my head.
