Long time lurker but I just want to say thank you guys from the bottom of my heart as a 21 year old fellow MGTOW. I think I was already MGTOW before I discovered you guys but this community helped me further reinforce my values as a man going his own way.
Now for my story, I was a fatty in high school and while I'm still working on my weight I'm doing it for different reasons now then when I started (Health and fitness now). When I started to lose weight I would just dream of one day getting pussy. I was a pathetic beta who was pretty much like 80 percent of all the other guys out there. You've all heard that story before but I'm actually glad that I was a fatty in high school. I never had to learn about women the hard way and I was able to just watch. I've watched my friends get torn apart by their girlfriends and become half the people they once were. I've watched my parents and their siblings get divorced and learned how marriage isn't permanent like the media wants us to believe. I've watched my female family members and housemates completely pussy whip their guys into submission and it's been a depressing journey to witness. At first I was sad because I felt deprived of attention, but that happens to most kids growing up in high school. "What am I doing wrong? What can I do to fix it? How can I fit in more with everyone else?" I found out how to fit in with others at a certain point but by that point I had already been watching everything. I decided to work instead of chase after girls and I saved up enough money to backpack around 15 different countries in 5 months. It was the best thing I ever did and being able to see and experience the cultures around the world made me so much more than I used to be. I'm going to uni now and once I finish up my degree I'm going to go overseas again, hopefully to become an ESL teacher so that I can experience the world one step at a time instead of one week at a time. Who knows where I'm going now but without the burden of relationships I'm glad that I'm able to do whatever I want within reason.
So I leave you with this: AWALT, acquire currency and go your own way fellow gents. Make sure you avoid women when possible to lower the chance of getting a sexually-transmitted disease, accused of sexual assault or accused of sexual harassment (or just be fat like me and use that as a natural deterrent). Be immune to any form of shaming that involves questioning your masculinity then do whatever you want. If you want to retire early, keep working, do nothing, or do everything; no matter what it's all up to you. Only you can free yourself from the path that all the blue-pillers want you to walk. Good luck and stay strong!
